I don’t know who needs to hear this… but I don’t think we were created to live this disconnected from ourselves.

Tired all the time.
Running on caffeine and cortisol.
Scrolling instead of resting.
Calling burnout “normal.”
Ignoring our health because everybody needs something from us.
Smiling in public… but feeling completely off in private.

honestly?
I know that feeling because I lived there too.

There was a season where I could help everybody else and had completely lost myself in the process.

I wasn’t just physically exhausted.
I was spiritually disconnected.
Mentally overwhelmed.
Numb.
Going through the motions.

And what I found wasn’t another diet.
It wasn’t more hustle.
It wasn’t “trying harder.”

It was slowing down long enough to let God rebuild me from the inside out.

Little by little.

Through movement.
Through prayer.
Through nourishing my body instead of punishing it.
Through learning how to be disciplined without hating myself.
Through getting quiet enough to actually hear Him again.

That’s what I AM Rooted is.
