Since 2007, the Stratford Richardson YMCA has impacted the West Corridor communities of Charlotte by becoming a hub of activity through innovative programs that empower and challenge all people to become the best they can be. We serve 1,700 members, 400 program participants and actively extends our reach into the community by way of engaged collaboration with local non-profits, schools, churches a

nd businesses. Here at Stratford Richardson YMCA, we truly have a heart for the community. Our street team knocks on doors, engages in health fairs, and attends community gatherings to share information and invite the community to experience the Y Mission.

🏀 Looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? The YMCA of Greater Charlotte is looking for volunteer coaches for our Summer Sprint Basketball League.

Whether you're a former player, a parent, or someone who wants to invest in the next generation, you can help create a positive experience for young athletes this summer.

Just one hour on Friday evenings can help kids build confidence, develop skills, and learn valuable lessons about teamwork and sportsmanship.

Bus assignments are coming. Is your afterschool plan ready? 🚌

CMS Intent-to-Ride transportation request forms are due June 19. Families whose children will attend YMCA Afterschool should register now so they can ensure their transportation information reflects their afterschool plans.

YMCA Afterschool provides a safe, supportive environment where children can complete homework, stay active, build friendships, and continue learning after the school day ends. Spots are still available at many locations.
