Custom configured pair of Reserve Wheels 49SL rims (F&R matching) with Chris King Precision Components R45 Ceramic hubs.

I’ll soon feature some other options in this new category of rim that’s ~50-55mm deep and still weighs under 400gr‼️ That’s fully into the 1200-1300 gram wheelset weights….for aero wheels. We have it so good these days.

We are over due for some gold goodness! Chris King Precision Components providing the best bearings, built into a robust and super light gravel setup with the BOYD Cycling Jocasse carbon rims.

Not all super sweet wheels have to be super expensive wheels. Hopes exceptional Pro 5 hubs paired with Reserve lifetime warranty aluminum rims…👌

These awesome DT Swiss Deg 350 hubs only come in 32H, but it’s still no problem to build them into a lightweight wheel package with BERD spokes and Ibis carbon rims (one of the few options in lightweight 32H).
-Curious to see how BERD spokes ride on the trail…this set is available to demo!

Timeless Hadley hubs, still rocking that large needle bearing under the free hub body to handle loads like no other. Ibis carbon rims are one of the few nice ones still available in 32H, a necessity for some hub selections.

Love the Mt Dew colorway from (😥🫗). In this case all matchy with some bright ni***es and sweet rims making for a fast and cost effective Allroad wheelset. These things roll along so smoothly!

Rear MTB wheels live a hard life, if something fails while riding, I would say 70-80% of the time it’s a rear wheel. Whether it’s the drive mechanism, bearings, spokes or rim…they just have to do a lot of things. For that reason I always try to keep some high quality rear only options built up to help get people back on the trail in a hurry.

These are a couple of the rear wheels around the shop right now, waiting to save the day.

Best thing you can do for your stock Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels? Rebuild with some good hubs! And if you’re using them for mostly gravel as in this case, some make everything lighter & smoother. The antifreeze green is such a great color.

Black on black on black. Nothing flash about this wheelset but it’s still oh so special. Ultra light G23 rims with their unique bead profile built around hubs using the best Aerolite spokes.

Keeping it visually low key while still riding some of the lightest and smoothest wheels around was the goal here. ✔️

Some bikes deserve a classic & timeless look. It just doesn’t get a lot better than high polished gravel hubs. In this case with the best steel spokes aerolite, in silver of course. Finally some custom grey anodized rims add a little more retro style in a modern width & strength package.
