"Greetings"
We begin our class with this exercise I call "greetings" where the children perform a small obstacle challenge and pick one of 4 pictures: 💜 (hug), 👊(fist bump), 🖐️🖐️(high fives) or 🎶🎵 (silly dance). It gives everyone the time to get in the groove and get the class started with some personal attention to every child💕 Go, Fit Kids!!

"Bean Bag Runway" was a HIT this week at The challenge for the runners is NOT to get touched by the sliding bean bags. This activity promotes hand/rye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, and gives a nice cardiovascular boost! Go, Fit Kids!!

Fit Kids Afterschool is on full force! We began our session by practicing hand eye coordination with a simple exercise: Ring the Cone. The kids enjoyed this challenge and I'm proud of everyone for showing perseverance 👊

Fit Kids Sensory Event 💥
Sensory play prompts kids to use both verbal and non-verbal communication to interact with peers. Fine Motor Skills: sensory play involves coordinating small muscle groups in the body, such as the hands and fingers. It helps kids to manage dexterous tasks better, such as writing, snapping, tying, pouring, and grasping.

Fit Kids Fitness Birthday 🎉
Whether you call it a stability ball, Swiss ball or balance ball, you can use it to train your core. Specific moves, such as ball crunches, ball passes and roll outs, target your ab muscles directly, but doing something as simple as bouncing on the ball challenges your entire core, which includes your back and hip muscles, to be stronger and healthier.
