UPDATE: Stingerz played today at 12:00pm against Florida. We fought hard and took the game to 6 innings, but couldn't get the bats going. We fell to Florida 6-2.

Our Regional Tournament ride has ended, but we had a great time!!

UPDATE: The Stingerz pulled out a WIN in our first game against Georgia 9-2, but fell to the heat and exhaustion in our second game against Virginia, losing 3-16.

We are now seated #2 in the A bracket. We will play tomorrow at 12pm against the #1 team in the B bracket.

Keep cheering us on!!

If we win tomorrow, we will play for the Regional championship! Let's go Stingerz!

We would also like to thank everyone who came by the Sunrise Cafe and donated this morning! We were blessed with many donations here, as well! Open daily 7am-2pm and serving breakfast and lunch. Enjoy many different menu items, including omelettes, breakfast burritos, pancakes... a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, salads, and more!

To the owner and staff, you all were amazing! We appreciate you all for allowing us to use your location and sharing your customers with us. We are getting closer to our journey to Clarksville TN. GO STINGERZ!! 🥎💪💲

We would like to thank everyone who came by the Red Barn and donated this morning. We were incredibly blessed and enjoyed browsing the many adorable items for sale! They have precious metal sculptures that are handmade, furniture pieces for indoor and outdoors, adorable decor items with precious themes such as lemons, watermelon, and bees! Plus, so much more!! A great place to find the perfect gift for those hard to shop for!

Congratulations to our North Carolina District 3 Little League 9-10-11-Year Old team consisting of Mallard Creek Optimist Club Softball, East Lincoln Optimist - Softball and CoulOak Little League for winning the North Carolina Little League Softball State Championship last night at North Mecklenburg Park in thrilling fashion.

Down 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Mallard Creek’s Finley O’Rourke singled, stole second and scored the tying run on a hit from Kanyia Wright of East Lincoln.

Wright took second on a wild pitch and scored the winning run on a walk-off double by EL’s Paige Stevens to secure the come-from-behind victory over Northwest Forsyth American Little League, 4-3.

We are so proud of our Mallard Creek players, Finley and Dania Monroe, who both had great tournament performances.

Mallard Creek’s coaching representative Patrick O'Rourke will join Brad Kirby (CoulOak) and Jay Terry (East Lincoln) in leading the D3 Stingerz at the Little League Tournament of State Champions (TOSC) in Clarksville, Tenn., starting July 28.

Way to go, ladies!!
