Steele Creek Athletic Association

Steele Creek Athletic Association SCAA is a volunteer managed non-profit organization that is dedicated to youth team sports. SCAA has been a mainstay in southwest Charlotte since 1958.

Steele Creek Athletic Association is one of North Carolina’s oldest and finest athletic programs. SCAA offers diverse sports programs in a fun and competitive environment, including Little League Baseball, Softball, Cheerleading, Flag Football, and Pop Warner Tackle Football. Participating in team sports has been proven to build discipline, develop character, and offer the opportunity to accomplis

h a common goal. Physical activity and establishing exercise routines can create healthy habits that last a lifetime. Our eye is on the ball and our mind is on the future. SCAA is continuously evolving and growing just like our community. We are always striving to improve our players’, coaches’, parents’ and sponsors’ experience with the organization.

OPENING DAY AT STEELE CREEK!! ⚾☀️

It was a beautiful day at the baseball fields celebrating the beginning of our Little League spring season! Shout out to the Junior League NC State Champs including pitcher Bryce Reinking and catcher Landon Kazak who threw out the first pitch.

Key Highlights & 2026 Opportunities-

📍 Volunteer Excellence: A huge congratulations to Pedro Muniz, our 2025 SCAA MVP Award recipient, for his dedication to SCAA. Additionally, we added three new voting Board members: Devon Daniels, Jennifer Kelly, and Randy Helms. Congratulations to Amanda Inouye, the winner of our Free Family Membership drawing!

📍 Sports Updates: Spring 2026 Registration is open. Now that the snow has melted, please share and amplify efforts to register more athletes for baseball, soccer, and softball!

📍 Facility Transformation: Our partnership with Toll Brothers kicks off with a Fall 2026 groundbreaking, bringing new fencing, security, and infrastructure upgrades.

📍 Mascot Finalists: It’s time to vote! Help us choose between the Steele Creek Shadowcats or Steele Creek Stingers. (See email for voting link.)
