MID-SEASON 2DAY BRINGS HOT SCORES AND WEATHER 🥵

Lancaster Golf Club and Edgewater Golf Club played host to the CLT Senior Open and set up for some low scoring.

Bruce Gantt carded three birdies to start the tournament and set the club house pace at -1 Par on Day 1. Bruce matched his birdie count on Day 2 to cruise to the CHAMP Flight win with a second day EVEN Par, 72. Bruce has a commanding lead on the CHAMP Flight points race heading into the second half of the season.

MID-SEASON 2DAY BRINGS HOT SCORES AND WEATHER 🥵

Lancaster Golf Club and Edgewater Golf Club played host to the CLT Senior Open and set up for some low scoring.

Danny Sweetman found himself in the middle of a pack of 9 golfers all breaking 80 on Day 1 and within 3 shots of the lead in the A Flight field. On Day 2, the herd thinned out over the day and Danny was able to card a very nice +1, 73 to take the Open Trophy and the points with it. Danny collected 5 birdies over the weekend and takes a solid points lead into the second half of the season.

MID-SEASON 2DAY BRINGS HOT SCORES AND WEATHER 🥵

Lancaster Golf Club and Edgewater Golf Club played host to the CLT Senior Open and set up for some low scoring.

Eric Walker started Day 2 six shots off the pace set by B Flight points leader Russell McDonald. Russell carded a very nice 77 to start the tournament and had his eyes one the trophy. Eric woke up that morning and felt like his 20 year old self, playing lights out - 5 birdies - and broke par for the first time "since my 20's!" Eric set the low round of the tournament across all Flights with his -2, 70 and finished with a 2 day total of 153!

MID-SEASON 2DAY BRINGS HOT SCORES AND WEATHER 🥵

Lancaster Golf Club and Edgewater Golf Club played host to the CLT Senior Open and set up for some low scoring.

Marty James carded a birdie on his way to breaking 80 on day 1 to set a huge overnight lead in the C Flight. He closed out the field on Day 2 with an easy 87 to take his 3rd! Two Day Championship of the Season. Marty keeps pace in the C Flight season long race and has a chance at the title coming down the stretch.

Lancaster Golf Club and Edgewater Golf Club played host to the CLT Senior Open and set up for some low scoring.

Allen Iverson set a scorching pace on day 1 in the D Flight with a single-birdie 81. This set the pace well beyond the pack for Day 2 and Allen coasted to his first win of the season with another strong 85.

Mooresville Golf Club set up was on point with excellent course conditions. All Flight winners turned in low scores on their cards and a few got bumped up to the next level.

Joe Jaspers continues his 2026 dominance of the CHAMP Flight with another under par score of 69. Joe drained 3 birdies on the day and carded in a bogey free round to take the trophy and winnings. Joe has a commanding lead on the season points race and few challengers!

Mooresville Golf Club set up was on point with excellent course conditions. All Flight winners turned in low scores on their cards and a few got bumped up to the next level.

Central Carolina Amateur Golf Tour player, Kirby Moffitt ventures south again and steals the hardware from CLT for the second time this season. Kirby needed only one birdie to cushion his differential from the field by 2. Kirby is putting together an impressive season winning twice in CLT and twice in his home tour. He leads his tour's points season race by a large margin!

Mooresville Golf Club set up was on point with excellent course conditions. All Flight winners turned in low scores on their cards and a few got bumped up to the next level.

Tour veteran, Matt Rickle carded his best tour result ever, building on several strong seasons where he's moved up flights each year. Matt drained two birdies on his way to a blazing 76 and the B Flight trophy. With the win, Matt moves up to the A Flight and is in the top 20 for the season points race.

Mooresville Golf Club set up was on point with excellent course conditions. All Flight winners turned in low scores on their cards and a few got bumped up to the next level.

Brandon Miller keeps his season rolling with his third trophy of the season and stacks his points total at the top of the C Flight leaderboard. Brandon turned in his score card and found himself in a playoff with Tony Pharr. The two had matching 85s. Brandon was able to prevail in the playoff to take the win.

Mooresville Golf Club set up was on point with excellent course conditions. All Flight winners turned in low scores on their cards and a few got bumped up to the next level.

Jay Johnson continues his solid 2026 play carding a 91 (+19) to cruise to a 4 shot differential over the D Flight field. Jay jumped up to the second spot on the season long point race and looks to challenge for the title down the stretch.
