Your downswing might be going wrong before you even start rotating.
Watch the body closely 👀
Before these players rotate open, there’s a subtle move toward the target.
That’s recentering.
It’s not a big slide or aggressive weight shift. It’s a small, well-timed move that helps put the body in a better position to:
→ sequence the downswing
→ create pressure into the lead side
→ rotate effectively
→ control low point and contact
One of the biggest mistakes I see is golfers trying to immediately spin open from the top.
Good rotation matters.
But when you rotate matters too.
Sometimes better rotation starts with learning how to move laterally first.
Sequence the movement better and a lot of the positions golfers try to force can start happening naturally.
