Every message, every kind word, and every bit of love was truly appreciated. Birthdays have a way of making you reflect on life, the people connected to you, the lessons you’ve learned, and the blessing of simply being here to see another year.

Today, we honor your life, your legacy, and the impact you made on so many of us. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned from you, to have been guided by you, and to carry the lessons you shared with me throughout my own journey.

There are still moments when I wish I could pick up the phone, hear your voice, ask a question, or simply share what has happened since you’ve been gone.

Although you are no longer here with us physically, your influence continues to live through the students you taught, the lives you touched, and the lessons that continue to be passed forward.

You are deeply missed, Grandmaster, but you will never be forgotten.
