When Brad started the ideation of the Let ‘Em Play Youth Sports league - he knew exactly what he was trying to solve in youth sports’ leagues.
As a former AAU BB player & sports’ enthusiast - he wanted kids’ to have more time on the ball.
He knew he had to prove the concept and it was just him and I.
What I did know about Brad was the following:
🏀Brad’s heart & passion for kids, coaching, sports, and his league’s mission.
⚽️ Brad had started his other business from the ground up after being in Corporate America for years.
He is starting Let ‘Em Play Youth Sports’ the same way - from the ground up - by doing it himself with a lil’ help from me-plus friends’ & family’s advice, help, and support. It's the best way to start a business.
A few Sundays ago, I was working the scoreboard :) - surrounded by my close friends, new friends from the league, plus families from Arch's school & sporting events.
I was watching the kids and parents. I realized this league was becoming a lil’ community that reminded me of ‘ole Charlotte.
The camaraderie and cheers for the kids and support from the parents’ have been huge.
The Cornwell Center @ Myers Park have been great partners & supporters.
Thanks to all the parents who have stepped in and believed in Brad’s concept and Let ‘Em Play Youth Sports league.
I’m forever grateful for the parents’ and older kids playing, coaching, cheering & keeping an eye out for Arch.
It takes a village to cultivate children to allow them to thrive in the community.
We really love this village and appreciate all of you!
