POSSIBLE TOURNAMENT IN CHINA (FIGHTER EXPENSES PAID)! ACW MEMBER ONLY OPPORTUNITY!! Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) has been approached about a possible sponsorship early this summer (2026). If this comes to fruition, the sponsorship will allow the ACW to select a small number of fighters to go on an all-expense paid trip to China to fight in an international tournament in China. ACW must select a limited number of ACW paid members to travel and fight in the international tournament held at the beginning of August 2026 (from around the 1st to the 6th). Fighter airfare, hotel and transportation will be covered. We will know by the end of this month (May 2026) if this opportunity is available.

Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) invites medieval armored combat fighters and teams from all leagues to compete in an open tournament at the SALT LAKE CITY 2026 SUMMER BRAWL - FitCon Utah at the MOUNTAIN AMERICA EXPO CENTER in Sandy, Utah. On Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th, individual (male and female) fighters and teams from all over the USA can fight for trophies and medals.

Fighter and support pre-registration is required (see below registration).NO registration fee for current ACW members! A $50 registration fee is required for non-ACW members. Event registration covers entrance fee to the Fitcon event site, entrance in the fighting competition, and the fighter’s event liability insurance for the event.

Spectators and fans are encouraged to attend this exciting event. Get close and hear swords, axes, shields and armor clash and sparks fly in one-on-one competition and team melees. Guess what Everyone! is hosting the first Gathering Gladiatorial Open Tournament on May 22nd to May 24th!

Where fighters can compete in 1v1 matches for the grand prize! If you are a Buhurt Fighter from ANY league, Registration to compete is open!

Apologies for the late post! However, some splendid news!

The Captain and Team Center really put their words to actions this past Saturday!

In true Warden fashion, they signed up and purchased shirts in support of the Sunshine Elementary School’s fundraiser to get more school supplies… at their annual 5k!

Needless to say, the two attended in majority kit, forgoing their helmets, gauntlets, sabatons and boots; for safety reasons. However, they did not stop the whole time and even gave the kids a show by sprinting the final stretch!

Displaying, just because they’re wearing all that armor, doesn’t mean they can’t be agile!

They finished, unsurprisingly, at the 1 hour and 1min Mark. An understandable time, when wearing around 60lbs of metal on your body!

You are invited to take a step back in time for renaissance era entertainment, including the chance to watch fully armored Knights fight in medieval armored combat competitions! Real Knights from the Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) Scottsboro Iron Swans will provide combat demonstrations and compete at the Scottsboro Renaissance Faire on Saturday, Nov 9, 2024. None of the fighting is choreographed! Come cheer on your favorite fighters, meet them in person and and enjoy incredible food and some medieval fun!
