Join at Friendship Baptist Church for Black Men’s Wellness Day, Saturday October 12th from 7am - 12pm
The health choices made by black men today can have lasting effects on future generations. By prioritizing exercise and healthy eating, black men not only improve their own quality of life but also set a positive precedent for their children and grandchildren. Health is often passed down in families, not just genetically but through behaviors and habits. When black men make concious decisions to lead healthier lives, they break the cycle of poor health outcomes that have disproportionately affected our community.
Children who grow up seeing their fathers take care of their health are more likely to develop lifelong habits that prioritize health. This inter-generational of knowledge and behaviors can lead to healthier outcomes for future generations of Black Men and Their Families.
