Fi****ms training and education are the highest priorities for Huey P. Newton Gun Club members.

We believe it is our duty to learn these skills and pass them on to our people. Never before has fi****ms training and knowledge been more important for Black and Brown communities.

We have a vast network of instructors throughout the country who are ready to help you become safe and proficient with your firearm.

All we ask in return is that, once you reach your goals, you pay it forward by teaching someone else. In this way, the process of responsible firearm ownership and education continues—helping create a safer future for our people.

Training isn’t just about fi****ms—it’s about survival, readiness, and protecting our community.

Natural disasters, grid failures, civil unrest, and other emergencies won’t wait until we’re ready. Neither will those who see an increasingly diverse America and empowered so-called minority communities as a threat to their self perception of superiority.

Train your body. Learn first aid. Have at least 90 days of supplies. Practice using your survival equipment. Strengthen your community by sharing your knowledge and setting an example for others. Know the law and be prepared to protect yourself and your family within the law.

We don’t prepare because we live in fear. We prepare because we refuse to be helpless.

One thing that really gets under my skin is hearing “Black” people say, “We are not our ancestors.”

Speak for yourself.

Our ancestors weren’t just victims—they were organizers, builders, protectors, and defenders of their communities. They included men like Robert F. Williams, who organized a group called the Black Armed Guard, and organizations like the Deacons for Defense and Justice, who lawfully protected Black communities and civil rights workers when others would not.

Their courage, discipline, and commitment to armed self-defense are part of our legacy.

I don’t reject my ancestors.

I AM MY ANCESTORS.

The elites are preparing for something. The question is: are you?

If the lights went out today and never came back on, what would you do? Where would you go? How would you communicate? How would you protect your family? Who would you trust?

These are the questions members of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club are working to answer now—not after a crisis begins.

That is why we train.

We train in fi****ms safety and proficiency. We train in first aid and trauma care. We train in communications, bushcraft, land navigation, emergency preparedness, and community defense. We encourage every member to build food, water, and medical reserves and to develop a strong Mutual Assistance Group of trusted friends, family, and neighbors.

Our goal is not fear. Our goal is preparedness.

History has shown that communities that are organized, trained, and self-reliant are far more resilient during times of crisis than those that wait for someone else to save them.

The time to prepare is now. Build your skills. Strengthen your network. Develop your plan.

Moors— or whatever identity you choose to embrace — It is well past time for us to pursue self-sufficiency, economic independence, and community solidarity. We must invest defensive fi****ms, ammunition and training. We must support one another to build strong mutual assistance groups, sustainable institutions of our own rather than remaining dependent on AmeriKKKa’s racist White Nationalist power structures that has become brazenly hostile to our advancement, education, and in some instances our very survival.
