Most new hosts put zero thought into their listing title. And then wonder why no one is booking. 👇
Your title and description are not just words. They are how Airbnb’s search algorithm decides whether to show your property to a guest or not.
Here’s what actually matters:
🔍 Keywords. Airbnb is a search engine. Guests type in what they’re looking for. If those words aren’t in your listing you won’t show up. Think about who your guest is and what they would actually search for.
📍 Location specifics. Don’t just say “beach house.” Say where. Guests search by location and the more specific you are the better you rank.
✨ Amenities in the title. Hot tub? Pool? Game room? Put it in the title. Guests filter by amenities and your title is prime real estate.
📝 Description that speaks to one person. Who is your ideal guest? Write directly to them. A family trip feels different than a girls weekend. Speak to who you actually want to attract.
Your listing is your storefront. Make sure people can actually find it. 🙌
