Running on empty, feeding a newborn at 3am, and still somehow trying to hold a whole family together?
Feel like every meal comes with a side of guilt, no matter what you choose?
Well chances are, you and Sydney will have had something in common.
If you’re feeling that way NOW, ask yourself honestly, what happens if that carries on for another 5 years?
Sydney was a mum of two, a newborn and a toddler, holding the house together alone most nights while her husband worked police shifts.
She’d tried cutting out sugar and alcohol before. It worked, for a while. But willpower alone can only carry you so far.
On one of our first calls, she opened up about something deeper. She was scared of carbs. A legacy of her gestational diabetes meant pasta, rice, even potatoes came loaded with guilt before she’d taken a single bite.
So she was surviving on cookies and quick snacks between feeds, exhausted, guilty, and quietly wondering if this was just what motherhood was supposed to feel like.
Where a lot of people go wrong is thinking the answer is eating less and pushing harder.
For Sydney, it was the opposite. She didn’t need to do more, she needed to be given permission to fuel her body properly, and a plan built around the chaos of two kids and no sleep, not one that asked even more of her.
Once we reframed carbs as fuel instead of the enemy, fixed how she was tracking her food, and built a training plan around short sessions she could actually fit into real life...
Everything shifted.
Fast forward to now, and Sydney is down nearly 20 lbs.
She’s got her energy back. The guilt around food is gone. And her husband has now joined her on the journey too, turning her comeback into their comeback.
So many of our clients start out exactly where Sydney did. Overwhelmed, running on fumes, and convinced this is just their new normal.
But time and time again, we watch that story rewrite itself.
If you’re ready to feel like yourself again, energised, confident, and proud of what your body can do, we’re now taking applications for new clients.
Dm me ‘SYDNEY’ if it’s finally time to put yourself first.
