A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!
I was honored to serve as MC for âs annual fundraiser this past Wednesday.
Back in 2019, my brother Jon Davis introduced me to Communities In Schools. Once I saw the tangible impact this organization was making in the lives of young people, their families, and their communities, I couldnât unsee it and immediately felt compelled to support.
Now, I serve as Board Chair, and Wednesday night was one of the highlights of my tenure as we âILLUMINATEDâ the students, staff, and leaders - past and present - whose transformational work has positively impacted our community over the last four decades.
A recent long-term national study from Opportunity Insights at Harvard University identified Communities In Schools as a proven driver of economic mobility.
This study is just one of many affirming results of the work of CIS.
Through CIS, generational curses are being brokenâŚyoung people are being exposed to opportunityâŚdreams are being realized!
