Located in the heart of the historic Arts district, NoDa, the Johnston YMCA features two fitness centers, group exercise, aquatics, arts programming for adults/youth, and sports. Founded in 1948, the Johnston YMCA is often referred to as “the Heart of NoDa.” Our branch reflects the eclectic nature of our community and the over 4,000 members that we serve. As a Minibus Driver, you'll do more than get kids from point A to point B. You'll help create a safe, welcoming experience for children and families while supporting Y programs across our community.

Looking to add hours to your schedule? Minibus Driver shifts may pair well with another part-time role at the Y.

Youth & Government gives high school students a hands-on opportunity to learn how government works while building confidence and leadership skills.

Teens discuss and debate issues, propose legislation, explore different perspectives, and strengthen communication and problem-solving skills. The experience culminates at a youth-led state conference in Raleigh, where participants put what they've learned into action.
