Service Technician (Charlotte, NC - Full Time)

Our client is a quickly growing Air Compressor company with a strong culture - collaborative, family friendly, work hard play hard, professional & personable. We manufacture air compressors & air treatment equipment in Turkey, ship them to the US & is a provider for distributors, who connect with OEM's & industrial end users that utilize compressed air.
We are looking for a new teammate to support the Service Department within our in-house quality initiatives and adjusting to specifications of our client’s needs, as we are expanding our customer base as we are offering innovative products & service offerings in 2022 and beyond.
Our customers are distributors who include our air compressors & air treatment products with other tools & products necessary for operations to take place in an industrial end user. This role is in a warehouse environment working with large air compressors.
What you’ll do
Testing equipment (voltage conversions & modifications) to suite customer requirements
Shipping / receiving, pulling motors out of machines
Prepare, test, assemble machines
Inventory control, housekeeping
Providing service training to distributors on site (possible travel to customer site for startup / repair services)
Assemble & test industrial air compressors
Perform mechanical & electrical diagnostics, preventative maintenance & repair of compressed air systems & accessories
Perform emergency / unscheduled repairs of compressed air systems & accessories during normal working hours, after-hours, weekends and holidays as directed
Read & interpret operation & parts manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints to perform required maintenance & repairs
What you’ll need
HVAC Certification, Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance experience
Prefer 2+ yrs compressor experience
High level of customer service skills, professionalism, personal integrity
Ability to use a variety of hand & power tools, electrical meters, & material handling equipment
Comply w/ safety regulations concerning compressed air & electrical systems, including the use of proper PPE when required
May require extended periods of standing, sitting while driving, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, kneeling, or squatting
Must be able to lift or move objects up to 100 lbs
Willing to speak up with new ideas, suggestions, solutions, challenges, and feedback
Highly organized & high attention to detail
MS Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel
What you’ll gain
Role will be 90% working in our facility servicing our shipments vs in the field visiting customer sites. On occasion, there may be some customer site set up’s required.

Base Salary Negotiations begin at $50k and will depend on experience
