Rotation training shouldn’t be avoided during pregnancy. Our bodies rotate all day long when we walk, reach, etc.

As pregnancy progresses, the growing belly changes the way pressure is managed in the core. Rotational movements can make it harder to control that pressure, so we may adjust range of motion, load, or stance to keep the movement comfortable and effective.

The question isn’t “Can I rotate?” The question is “Can I rotate while maintaining good pressure management, control, and comfort?”

➡️ Building pulling strength
➡️ Improving explosive power

You’ll notice:
• Structured squat progressions (time to lift progressively overload)
• Heavier rows + more pull variations
• Faster, more intense conditioning intervals

This phase is all about turning strength into performance & building power, speed, and capacity on top of the foundations we’ve already laid.

Stay sharp on your fundamentals, but don’t be afraid to push the load and intensity.

This is where things start to feel different.

Training like an athlete is the real fountain of youth.

Most people think after their high school or college playing career is over, it’s time to hang up the jersey and stop training hard. After all, what’s the point?

But Dr. Wright’s study speaks volumes to the importance of being a lifetime ATHLETE, not just a casual fitness goer.

In her study, Dr. Wright looked at Master track ATHLETES. This means these are men and women who are currently competitive athletes, not casual fitness goers. She saw only minor declines in performance year to year after the age of 50.

This has HUGE effects on quality of life later on in life. Think about it like this: if you were still sprinting and jumping at the age of 70, the chances of you becoming a fall risk when you’re older is significantly lowered.

Most people at that point haven’t sprinted for 40+ years.

You’d be surprised just how athletic you can get if you keep training hard in your 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. We have had athletes who have gotten their FIRST dunk after the age of 40 and feel like they’re 20 years old again!

Our Teen Class this week will take place on Thursday and Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM. The gym is located right next door to Publix. Parents can get their grocery shopping done while their teen enjoys a 45-minute workout.

Shopping all finished? Publix also has a great space upstairs where you can work from your laptop or simply relax while your child moves and connects with new friends.

Ages 13+ are welcome.
Newcomers, please arrive with a parent 10 minutes before class to complete a waiver.

First class is free—come on in!
