Our Challenger Foundational Camp is well underway at Shanahan right now and, from what we hear, the kids are LOVING it!

We have several of those athletes excited for our *Travel Camp* to take place next week, June 22nd - 26th. Time is 5 PM to 8 PM right here at Shanahan!

Your child does NOT need to be on a travel team to sign up for the Travel Camp! This will be an excellent opportunity to learn some additional skills! While it will be a bit more advanced than our Foundational camp, we have found that Challenger is excellent at customizing their skills to the kids in attendance!

CYSA participants receive an extra discount (check your email)!

Additionally, if you attended camp last year, Challenger sent a code via email for repeat campers, which can also be used at the same time!

Last year (2025) was our first year offering U5 (age 4) to join our rec league and we were not disappointed with this change! One additional year with a foot on the ball is never a bad thing. ⚽️

The Early Bird discount (offered by Challenger Sports) for the *Travel Camp* expires on Friday, June 12th! Your child does not need to be on a travel team to sign up for the Travel Camp! This will be an excellent opportunity to learn some additional skills!

I am excited to announce that Rec. League Soccer Registration is now OPEN! Register Here: https://system.gotsport.com/programs/108U87219

Please note that registration closes June 30th - don't delay!

Our 6-week season begins August 18th and ends September 24th. Games are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at either 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM.

We are always looking for volunteer Coaches! Charlevoix Rec League cannot take place without the help of parents stepping into the coach role. You do not need to be an expert at soccer! We can put together a little informational/instructional session to help. If interested, you can add your information on the registration form when signing up your child(ren). Those who volunteer to coach will coach their child's team (unless requested otherwise). They will also have the opportunity to request one other player for their team (as long as the player is in the correct age group).

We are also always in need of Sponsors. You, your business, or a business you know may sponsor your child's team for $250. The business logo will be on the team shirts. We have additional sponsorship opportunities for those looking to help support Charlevoix Youth Soccer. All proceeds go to purchase t-shirts, balls, nets, goals, pinnies, cones, field pain, and more!

If your child has played for Charlevoix Youth Soccer in the past, there is an additional discount code in your email (from CYSA).

THIRD - I just realized that Challenger had sent a repeat camper code for those who attended last year. Dig back in your Challenger emails to find it (I almost missed it)!

Our U15 Girls team started the season with two WINS against Harbor Springs and West Branch.
