Our lady pirates hosted Eastern tonight taking the 11-1 win on 8th grade night!!
Our player(s) of the game went to #6 Stella Mercer, #7 Brooklyn Green, #12 Madeleine Ramires, #13 Rayleigh Dickey, #54 Olivia Hamner, #85 Kassayus Dunn, and #99 Jalynn Cox 💙
All 7 played the entire game and contributed in multiple ways to our win and I could not think of a better way to end our season!
All 17 girls have made this season so enjoyable and it was an honor to be their coach!

We came up short tonight in the Clark/Floyd tourney championship against New Albany losing 5-1.
Our player of the game goes to #4 Hadley Lynch for her growth and confidence in the box and at second base! She showed patience in her plate appearances drawing a walk, 0 strikeouts and put the ball in play scoring an RBI and our only run of the game 💙

Our lady pirates travelled to Silver Creek for the first round of the Clark/Floyd tourney and came out on top with the 14-11 win!! Now on to Wednesday where we will face New Albany at New Albany for the championship!
Our player of the game goes to #66 Nora Walls for her outright hustle, grit and determination both offensively and defensively! A few highlights would be her in the park home run, diving catch behind third base and her bare handed pick up on the bounce at short for the out! 💙

Our lady pirates traveled to Corydon tonight bringing home the 8-2 win!!
Player of the game goes to our #66 Nora Walls for her infectious energy in the box, on the field and in the dugout during our at bats! She had 2 hits one being a triple, scored 3 RBI’s and scored a run herself making her responsible for half of our total runs for the game 💪🏻 keep it up kid!!

Our B team also had a game tonight bringing home the 11-1 win!! Some highlights of this game would be Annie Wolf behind the plate throwing down at third and picking off a runner, Kylee Buck and Madi Hicks holding it down on the mound, Kassayus Dunn showing true grit getting hit hard by a pitch not once but twice and taking it like a champ, and our much improved base running as a whole!!

Our lady pirates travelled to Providence today bringing home the 7-6 win!! Our bats were on fire and it was a fun game to watch!
Our player of the game goes to #21 Shelby Hoskins for her solid performance on the mound and in the batters box! She went 2-3 with a single and a double 💪🏻 Shelb had 64% strikes with 3 strikeouts, 1 walk and only 3 ER on a solid hitting team!!

Bad news is our game got moved to Providence tonight which cancelled out our 8th grade night. Good news is our 8th grade night will now be the home game against Eastern on 5/14 💙

Our lady pirates hosted New Washington tonight taking the 21-5 win over the Mustangs!
Our player of the game goes to #54 Olivia Hamner for her outstanding performance in the box and having a lockdown on her right field position 💪🏻 This girl has shown so much progress in her confidence at the plate racking up a single, double and an in the park home run along with a walk and 4 RBI’s!!
Proud of all our girls playing their part in tonight’s win! Now onto 8th grade night against Providence Thursday at 5:30pm!!
