We had our end of the swim season celebration today! “Swimming is Sweet” was our theme! Awards were passed out and we had a large selection of desserts to choose from.

The boys took their last lap yesterday at the sectional finals🏴‍☠️

Charlestown came in 5th place out of 14 schools! Our boys had several successful swims to end the season🙌🏼

Our girls went all out as well wearing their Pirate spirit and cheering for their teammates💙

Top 8 finishes include:
🏊🏼‍♂️ 5th place 200yd Medley Relay-Cooper Lyvers, Cam Wenzel, Noah Ponton & Wyatt Abbott

🏊🏼‍♂️4th place 200yd IM-Cooper Lyvers

🏊🏼‍♂️5th place 100yd Fly-Cooper Lyvers

🏊🏼‍♂️ 6th place 200yd Free Relay-Thaddaeus Dietrich, Cam Wenzel, Wyatt Abbott, Cooper Lyvers

🏊🏼‍♂️6th place 100yd Breast stroke-Cam Wenzel

🏊🏼‍♂️8th place 400yd Free Relay- Thaddaeus Dietrich, Noah Ponton, Noah Jessee, Easton Roberts

Earlier this season, Cooper Lyvers helped lead the Charlestown boys' swim team to its first-ever Mid-Southern Conference title.

Our boys had some great swims tonight at the sectional prelims!

Several of our boys will be competing tomorrow for a place on the podium!

Cam Wenzel broke the school’s 100yd Breaststroke record of 1:05.1 the new time to beat is 1:04.15!

Thank you girls for supporting the boys by cheering them on and wearing their baby pics on their shirts 👶🏻
