Thank you for all of the help today. First day of the tournament is in the books. Thank you to Alex Hoel and Jakob Jones for staying for the final game and raking the field after it. KA4 will play Casey at 9:00 AM tomorrow and KA5 will then play KA4 for 3rd place at 11:00 AM. Casey and Marshall will face off for the Championship game at 1:00 PM. See you all in the morning!!

Charleston has made a small modification to the Tournament schedule next week. KA4 and KA5 will play in the first round on Monday in Kansas. The winner will advance to the next round in Charleston on Wednesday at Lanman Field. We are making up 2 games with JR2 on Tuesday in Kansas. KA4 and KA5 will play. It will be 1.5 hour/5 inning games. KA5 will play first at 5:30.

Just talked to Marshall. As of now, the field is good to go. They are checking the forecast and the field again at 3:30 and will make a final call!

Game not looking good today. I am waiting to hear from Marshall. I believe they have tarps on their field, so it will really depend on the weather at game time. I will keep everyone posted as soon as I know something.

Trying to get input from parents. If the heat index stays around the 100-102 mark at game time, do we cancel the game tonight and make it up in the week in between the Charleston Tournament and our Tournament? John and I will make final call. I am just asking input from all of you guys!

Just a reminder that KA5 plays JR1 in Charleston tomorrow night and we have the 7:30 game. Be there at 6:45 please. I am going to watch a little of Hannah's game before I head that way, so I may be a few minutes late.
