Our method provides customized fitness programs, expert guidance, community feel and schedule flexibility. Our founders, Will & Scott, have been working in this setting for over 10 years, and they decided that there's a better approach. Enter the Compass Fitness semi-private training method. In this style of training, you experience the benefits of working with a trainer while building a sense of

community and empowerment through others achievements. Semi-private training means that you get all the benefits of a customized fitness plan and time spent with an expert trainer, but you share the training floor with up to four others.

Is there a more universally hated exercise than lunges? Probably not. 😂

Nobody sees lunges on the workout and thinks, ‘Oh good, my favorite.’ But somehow the exercises we avoid the most are usually the ones we need the most.

Strength. Balance. Stability. Mobility. Coordination. Mental toughness. Lunges check every box while making you question your life choices one rep at a time.

Small changes create completely different training effects.

The goal isn’t just to do an exercise — it’s to understand what the exercise is asking from your body. By changing the implement, position, or setup, we can shift stability demands, core activation, coordination, and muscular emphasis without changing the movement pattern itself.

In this variation, the foam roller adds an entirely different challenge: resisting rotation, creating tension through the trunk, and forcing better control from head to toe. Same concept. Different stress. Different adaptation.

That’s the difference between simply working out
 and training with intention.

We don’t train just to look better in the mirror. We train so we can fully experience moments like this.

Strength, energy, mobility, confidence, longevity — fitness is about building a body that lets you explore the world, travel farther, stay curious, and say yes to life more often. The gym is not the destination. It’s the preparation for everything waiting outside of it.

Because at the end of the day, life isn’t lived between sets and reps. It’s lived in the memories we create, the places we see, the people we share them with, and the freedom to enjoy it all fully.
