If you’re curious about my plan to lose at least 2% body fat in the next 35 days, this is one of the many things I’ll be doing. My goal is to get to once a week for a 12 min sauna, 2 minute ice bath, 12 min sauna, 2 minute ice bath, 15 minute sauna session once a week. I have a lot of inflammation especially in my legs I’m assuming from all of my running, and I can tell you I sleep so much better at least 4 days in a row after doing the one 60 minute session.
If you’ve never done it before, it’s not easy. But it’s definitely worth it. Plus it’s great for boosting your metabolism and helping to improve your blood flow and cardiovascular recovery. A win win for this goal of mine.
My goal is to post each day during this journey letting you know what I’m doing and how it’s going. The whole goal is to jump into marathon training for the a little leaner, a little healthier, and a bit more disciplined.
