I don’t know about you, but this week felt like it had a few extra Mondays snuck in there. Time to shake it off, reset, and maybe do something that actually fills the tank instead of drains it.

Whether that’s hitting the gym, grabbing some good food, or just doing absolutely nothing — make it count.

Another Monday rolls around, like clockwork. Same sunrise, same grind, same noise. Feels like the world’s on repeat sometimes. Just me, my thoughts, and this endless loop. But even in the monotony, there’s a strange kind of beauty. Another chance to rewrite the story, even if the pages feel tough to turn.

Where do I even begin!?

First I have to thank for even suggesting this show otherwise I may not have taken the initiative to make the trip.

I've been a fan of since the early 2000's. Lzzy, Joe, Josh, and Arejay were so nice, gracious, and loved my shirt 😂

was incredible! Their whole set was covers!!! I was in heaven!

was amazing as well. Her energy and talent is off the charts!

Now this is the third time I've seen perform. She really is spectacular ❤️
and , I believe, are super underrated guitar players. They absolutely shred! Not to mention is one of my favorite drummers to watch, especially when he busts out the gigantic drum sticks 😂🙏

Also, so lucky, Josh saw me/my shirt in the crown and tried throwing a pick in my direction but I totally missed it. As we were leaving and Jamie was picking up her stuff, she found the pick on the ground!

I don't think I've ever been to the first show of a tour before but, the show was epic and had an amazing time!

Long story, long... Driving is very much a privilege that I don't take for granted.

Well, you have to take joy in the small wins.
I've had the same license plate for nearly 30 years. EVERYONE knows when they see B0KN0WS, it's me.

When I got my new vehicle, the dealership mistakenly got me new 'regular' license, making my vanity license plate null, void, and gone.
I thought I had lost it forever.

I went to the DMV and the nice lady explained it has to stay out of circulation for a year but if I submit my application with a statement of what happened MAYBE I could get it back.

I quickly filled out my application/fees with my polite statement and dropped in the mail. I knew it would take a month or more for me to find out what I would get. I selected two back ups, just in case.

Well, although the DMV and me haven't always seen eye to eye, some of it my fault and some of it theirs, I was granted MY license plate back!

Just did a little good deed yesterday. Nothing major, nothing that deserves a medal. Just helping someone out because I could. Funny thing is, it probably meant more to me than it did to them. Feels good to know you can lighten somebody’s load, even if it’s just for a moment.

Sometimes the best part about giving is realizing it doesn’t have to be huge. A smile, holding the door, a kind word, checking in, or lending a hand. Those little things add up.

Moral of the story: do good when you can. The world doesn’t need perfect people, it just needs more people willing to care.

Probably my favorite meal prep of all time.
This recipe makes quite a bit and usually last me about a week. You can freeze it as well.

1 packet chili seasoning (You can use two)
1 20oz bag frozen bell peppers & onions
2.25 lbs lean beef

- Brown beef with chili seasoning
Mix in thawed bell peppers & onions
(normally thaw in microwave)

Cooked separately:
2 cups Jasmine Rice
2 cups Beef Broth
Follow rice instructions substituting water for the broth or use rice cooker

I'm not on level BUT, I will keep trying 🤣

Weekends are made for fueling your happy. For me, that’s Jeep rides, gym time, good food, and more quality time with Cajun. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just the stuff that makes you breathe a little easier and smile a little bigger.

Find your version of that and pour gas on it. Happy doesn’t just show up…you’ve gotta fuel it.
