So many of you are living life at a dead sprint and don’t even realize it. The problem is — there is no finish line.
Rushing the dishes, the meals, the bedtime routine, the to-do list… always thinking about the next thing. Shoulders tense. Brain never stops. And when it finally does? You crash. You scroll. You numb out.
Not because you’re lazy. Not because you need a better routine.
Because your nervous system is stuck in survival mode.
Here’s a moment from my life that illustrates it perfectly:
My husband was putting together our new couch — calmly, slowly, pausing to watch the show we had on, putting in one screw at a time.
Meanwhile, I’m thinking, “Alright, how can I speed this up?”
Ready to swoop in and do it faster. Like if we didn’t finish immediately, the world would collapse. 🤯
And that’s when it hit me: his pace is normal. Mine? Survival mode disguised as efficiency. She’s sneaky.
If rushing through chores was an Olympic sport, I’d medal. And yes… I do dishes like my house is on fire.
I share this because it’s exactly the pattern I see in so many women — moving through life at a sprint without even realizing it, burning out, and feeling like slowing down isn’t an option.
In private coaching:
- We stop sprinting through your to-do list like it’s a race no one signed you up for.
- You realize you don’t have to be on fire to get things done.
- You start to notice what it actually feels like to take a breath, to slow down, to enjoy the moment.
You can move through life at a human pace — calm, present, and actually enjoying it. 🫶🏻
