That’s the percentage of time that you’re NOT swinging the racquet during a match.

Kinda crazy… right?

But hang on… let’s look at this little factoid in a way that shows you WHY this is so IMPORTANT for your game.

For every hour you’re on the court during a match… you’re NOT playing for 51 minutes!

That’s a LOT of time to be “in your own head” thinking about

“Wow I really screwed up that easy put away winner”
… “Why am I double faulting so much? What’s UP with my toss today?”
… … “Why do I feel so tense? I’m framing so many shots!”
… … … “They’re really picking on my backhand. How am I going to stay in this?”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched in horror as I started flushing games down the drain.

All because I was fighting myself on the court and beating myself up between points.

And all the positive self talk and imagery didn’t help one bit.

The mental game is CRITICAL...........
