With periods of heavy rain moving through the forecast this morning into the afternoon we cannot proceed with tennis today. The makeup date will be Monday 6/22.

Just a reminder for all parents & players with league play officially beginning Tuesday 6/16. Please try to arrive on time so we can operate in an orderly manner getting lessons and matches started so no one is left out of the first round of game play.

Little League begins 9:00-10:45
Big League begins 10:45-12:30

We always suggest arriving 10 minutes early with road work in the nearby areas, thank you for your cooperation to help us insure things run smoothly.

As always with tennis you can never time matches exactly so we may sometimes finish a few minutes early or late depending how close competition is that day and we want parents to note that if they are leaving and have to arrange pickup for their kids as well.

Register Today for Jefferson Summer Tennis League!

SPRING JEFFERSON JUNIOR TENNIS REGISTRATION information will be sent out via email. We will have a parent meeting on the first day of practice... paperwork and fees due at that time.

PLEASE REACH OUT ASAP IF YOUR CHILD WOULD LIKE TO PLAY - WE NEED TO BE SURE WE HAVE ENOUGH PLAYERS TO WARRANT SCHEDULING MATCHES WITH OTHER TEAMS.

SPECIAL NOTE - we will do our best to schedule matches with several private high schools and one private middle school, all within a one-hour radius of the park. A minimum number of matches is not guaranteed. Coach Jorge Almeyda will be unavailable until the beginning of April. We could really use some volunteers to help with running practices at least in March - no experience necessary. PLEASE let us know if you may be available!!!

ELIGIBILITY: Middle school boys and girls - rising 6th grade through 8th grade in Jefferson and Berkeley Counties, including home school.

PREREQUISITE: Completion of at least one summer tennis program or the equivalent. Players MUST KNOW tennis basics, including how to keep score - required to play in matches.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 (weather permitting) at Jefferson Memorial Park:
Joint practice girls and boys - MONDAYS and THURSDAYS 3:30-5:30 pm.
