The 4th grade Comets had one last fun night of baseball! Ryker Reams won the golden glove competition and Royal Griffin won the home run derby!

All of these boys improved over this year, and I hope they all come back next year. Excited for the future of our Comet baseball program!

Unfortunately Mother Nature was not happy and the last 4th grade Comet games were cancelled this week, which ended the season for these boys. They had a great season and ended the year 11-1-2!

These boys are not done playing baseball just yet though! There will be an end of the year fun night on Monday July 6th at the Zoetis diamonds starting at 6pm. There will be a golden glove competition, HR derby and a 9 vs. 9 game to end the night!

Stop out and cheer on these boys one last time this year! Watch them hit some "Dingers" as they say!

What an incredible night of baseball, tradition, and honoring a Legendary Comet Baseball Coach right here in our hometown! Huge thanks to all of the volunteers and donors for your time and efforts these last few months and weeks leading up to tonight's event! You all helped to help make the night to remember! Go Comets!

Chucktown Legends 11U brought home some hardware this past weekend in a grueling extra innings Championship battle with a final score of 13-12 victory. Our 11U legends went 4-0 on the weekend to win the CIS Gold Bracket! Way to go boys! Go Legends!

3 years of hardwork, fundrasing, dedication, frustration, rescheduling, commitment finally comes to fruition tonight!

⚾️ We encourage the public to join us for a historic night for Charles City Comet Youth Baseball ⚾️

On July 1st at 5:00 PM, we will be hosting a ribbon cutting at Lou Koenigsfeld Ball Field at Sportsman's Park and celebrate the legacy of one of the most influential figures in Charles City baseball history. We have some very special ceremonies and a presentation planned and you wont want to miss it.

Bring your lawn chair or grab a seat because immediately following the ceremony, the Charles City 13U and 12U team will hold a 9 inning scrimmage and baseball exposition showcasing our local players and talent.

🌭 $1 Hot Dogs Sponsored by Farm Bureau Financial Services – Jay Jung Agency will be sold at the concession stand as well.

If you've ever played, coached, watched, volunteered, or simply loved baseball in Charles City, this is a night you won't want to miss.

Let's pack the stands and celebrate the game that has brought our community together for generations!
