Week 1 team dinner of spaghetti at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church was a hit! Coach Mitchell shared his “word of the week” of P.H.D (Pride, Heart, Desire). Junior Micah Thompson was selected as our weekly captain along with yearly captains seniors Patrick Bruening, Davin Wilson, and Tyler Heitz. Many went to the volleyball game after and brought school spirit!

Our scrimmage is complete, marking the end of the preseason. The time, organization, planning, and general effort of camp/preseason is astonishing. Thank you to the players and a long list of people who make Comet football possible.

Our first football game is Friday 8/28 at Oelwein, varsity only. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS is back!!!
