It is COMET GAME DAY! Come to support your Comets! Kick off is 7:00PM!

The Charles City girls officially completed their regular season game play last night. Their overall record was 3-10-2. Their first year of North Central Conference play ended in a 2-10-1 record.

The girls are now focused on their upcoming Regional Game on Tuesday, May 26th at home against a conference opponent - The Hampton Dumont Bulldogs.

In their first meeting this year, Comets fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The second time around, the Comets won 4-1. All this means is that this Tuesday game should be a GOOD one! Please come out to support your Comet Girls and root them on! It should be a BEAUTIFUL night with some good soccer to watch.

Today’s the day!

Come help us support our Seniors: Kayla Streich, Fiona Pittman, and Nevaeh Bloker, for a 5:00 kickoff! Their names will be announced at 4:45!

The boys will play at 7:00pm.

It is also Youth Night, K-8 kids wearing their soccer jerseys get into the games for free, will take part in starting line ups, play on the field at half time, have their names announced, and get a free laffy taffy!

Reminder - tonight is Girls Soccer Senior Night AND Youth Night!

The girls will be recognized at 4:45 pm before their 5:00 kick off.

Any soccer players K-8 will be able to be involved in starting line ups during the boys’ game, play on the field at half time, and get in free when wearing their soccer jersey!

MONDAY, MAY 11TH:

- all youth CC soccer players are invited to attend and participate in the youth soccer night games. If a youth player (K-8) is wearing their jersey, they get in for free!

HS Girls play at 5:00pm, Senior Night recognition will start at 4:45pm.

HS Boys play at 7:00pm.
