Five sets. Two points separating the teams in the deciding set. Lions win. 🏐

NDCL Volleyball earned a 26-24, 17-25, 25-13, 18-25, 16-14 victory.

Mia Moissis led the attack with 15 kills and 15 digs. Frankie Brkic added 11 kills, 14 digs and three aces, while Audra Smith recorded 11 kills. Kami Titman distributed 32 assists, and Sam Wheeler led the defense with 25 digs.

A balanced effort throughout the lineup helped NDCL finish the job in the fifth.

📍 J. Fedor Field — 111 Euclid Ave., Struthers
⏰ Kickoff — 7 p.m.
🚪 Gates — 6 p.m.
🎟️ Tickets — CASH ONLY

A clean sweep on the road for NDCL Girls Tennis! 🎾

The Lions traveled to Lake Catholic and earned a 5-0 victory, winning all three singles and both doubles matches to secure the conference win.

NDCL Girls Soccer kept attacking until it found the equalizer Monday against Willoughby South.

After the Rebels scored in the 38th minute, the Lions battled for control through a tightly contested second half. In the 70th minute, Emma Zulandt connected with Ella Ko, who found the back of the net to bring NDCL level at 1-1.

Goalkeeper Sadie Wurm recorded four saves on five shots on target.

“We are proud of the resiliency of the players to continue to attack the ball and play until that final whistle.”

NDCL Boys Golf earned a top-three finish Monday, carding a 324 to place third among 12 teams at the Lion Classic.

Caige Cochran led the Lions with a 76, followed closely by Lincoln Miller with a 77. Paul Williams added an 85, Danny Zaller III shot an 86 and Hamilton Miller finished with an 88.

“The team is improving every week. Looking forward to the weeks to come,” head coach Edward Trebets said.
