Top Moments 2025-26: Zoey Myers qualified for the State Cross Country Meet! She finished in 14th place of 332 runners at regionals with a time of 19:12.67, the fastest time recorded by a female runner at Boardman in school history. Myers was the first female runner in 15 years from NDCL to advance to state.

Top Moments 2025-26: In Boys Varsity Soccer's 8-1 win over Grand River Academy on 10/2, senior Ryan Cvitkovic broke two school records for single season and career goals scored. He finished the season with 39 goals and 69 for his career. Cvitkovic was also named News-Herald Player of the Year and led the team to a district title for the first time since 2019. Congratulations, Ryan, on a legendary senior year and soccer career at NDCL!

Top Moments 2025-26: Ella Workinger qualified for the State Tennis Tournament for the second straight year as a sophomore! Workinger tied for 5th place overall in the DII Singles Tournament and earned 2nd team All-Ohio honors. She went 22-0 in the regular season and was named NCC MVP and awarded first team. Congratulations, Ella, on another outstanding season!

Our Top Moments series is back to recap a terrific 2025-26 in NDCL Athletics! We are starting off with the Girls Golf team winning the program's first conference title since 2017. The Lions finished the season 7-0 in conference play, led by back-to-back NCC MVP Alexis Urigel and Coach of the Year Tiger Alexander. Urigel and Ava Lewandowski received first team, Taylor Wallingford, Claire Ribic, and Lillian Kasper earned second team for their performances at the NCC Championships.

The USA Youth Softball Camp hosted by NDCL is off to a terrific start thanks to our Head Coach Tiger Alexander and his coaching staff! Our campers are really enjoying our new turf facility and the leadership and instruction from our coaches and players in the program. It’s going to be a great week of camp!
