🚨 IMPORTANT PARKING NOTICE 🚨

Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, parking will no longer be permitted on the sidewalk leading to the new basketball building.

We must keep this sidewalk clear at all times so our members and guests have safe and easy access to the building—especially those using wheelchairs or anyone with mobility needs.

Please use the designated parking areas and help us keep this walkway completely open.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we work to make The Rec accessible and welcoming for everyone! 🏀

🎃🥎 HALLOWEEN WOOD BAT BASH! 🥎🎃

Get your team together for a day of Men’s Wooden Bat Softball at The Rec! Join us Saturday, October 24, 2026!

💰 $400 per team
🥎 Guaranteed at least 2 games

Tournament Rules:

* 10 players in the field
* 1–1 count on every batter
* Foul ball on the 2nd strike is an out
* 3 home runs per game
* 2 players from each team may purchase a $25 Home Run Wristband. Those players may hit unlimited home runs throughout the tournament
* 6 innings
* 1-hour time limit per game

💵 REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:
The $400 registration fee must be paid when registering your team. Your team is NOT officially registered and your spot will NOT be held until payment is received.

💙🥎 Sgt. Cory Maynard Memorial Softball Tournament 🥎💙

Today we had the privilege of coming together to honor the life and legacy of West Virginia State Police Sgt. Cory Maynard, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Cory dedicated his life to serving and protecting others, and it is an honor to help keep his memory alive through an event that brings together friends, family, law enforcement and our community.

The Sgt. Cory Maynard Memorial Softball Tournament is about much more than wins and losses. It is about remembering a husband, father, friend, State Trooper and hero whose service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We are proud to host this special event at The Rec and proud to support the Sgt. Cory Maynard Memorial Scholarship, helping first responders and their families continue their education.

Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, supported the tournament or simply came out to be a part of this special day.

We were honored to host Senator Shelley Moore Capito at The Rec yesterday!

It was a great opportunity to show her the many improvements we’ve made, as well as the exciting projects currently underway. We’re proud of the progress happening at The Rec and even more excited about what’s ahead for our community.

We’ve updated our Water Aerobics schedule! Come join Abby for a fun, energizing workout in the pool at our new times:

Water aerobics is a great low-impact way to get moving, build strength, and have some fun while you’re at it!
