A little friendly reminder as we work through the next steps of the season! ⚽️💙

We know everyone is excited to find out who their child’s coach will be and what team they’ll be playing on—and trust us, we’re just as excited to get everyone there! However, we literally just finished organizing players by age and division, and coaches have only just met to begin selecting teams. This is a process, not an instant assignment. 😅

There are a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes to make sure teams are put together as fairly and appropriately as possible. We promise we aren’t sitting on team information—we simply don’t have it all finalized yet!

We also want to clarify something that has come up this season regarding registration and payment. Registration fees are required to participate and are not dependent on receiving a particular coach, being placed on a preferred team, or waiting to see if your child decides whether they want to play. We completely understand that financial hardship can happen, and we are always mindful of families who genuinely need assistance. ❤️

At the same time, league expenses begin well before the first game is played—fields, equipment, insurance, uniforms, officials, scheduling, and all the other pieces that make the season possible. Someone has to cover those costs, and unfortunately, we aren’t able to operate on a “we’ll pay if everything works out the way we want” basis.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while our volunteers work through the process. There are a LOT of details happening behind the scenes that most people never see, and we’re working hard to get everyone where they need to be.

Registration Update ⚽️

As we finalize registrations and prepare our rosters for the upcoming season, we want to make everyone aware that any unpaid registration invoices will regretfully be canceled if payment arrangements have not been made and we have not been contacted regarding the registration.

We understand that circumstances can come up, and we appreciate those who have communicated with us and made other arrangements.

📣 IMPORTANT REGISTRATION REMINDER

Just a quick reminder that all outstanding registration invoices need to be paid by this evening, unless you have already messaged the Coalfield Youth Soccer League page regarding a financial hardship or made other payment arrangements with us.

We completely understand that sometimes things come up, and we are absolutely willing to work with families when we know there’s a situation. ❤️ Several families have already reached out, and we appreciate the communication.

At the same time, we have to be able to cover the costs of the league, so we can’t leave unpaid registrations open without knowing what the situation is.

If your invoice is still unpaid after this evening and you have not contacted us about payment arrangements, your registration will need to be canceled.

This isn’t meant to be harsh or to put anyone on the spot. We just need to have communication so we know how to plan and move forward. If you need to make an arrangement, please send us a message today and we’ll do our best to work with you.

🍂 Registration closes August 11th, so don’t wait!

We also wanted to send a friendly reminder about registration invoices. We’ve noticed quite a few families have registered but still have outstanding balances. Those registration fees are what allow us to order uniforms, pay for insurance, purchase equipment, pay officials, maintenance and keep the season running smoothly.

✅ If you’ve already mailed a check or plan to pay with cash, please send us a quick message so we can make a note of it.

❤️ If paying the registration fee is a hardship, please don’t stay silent. We never want finances to keep a child off the field. Reach out to us as soon as possible so we can discuss sponsorship opportunities. We have some incredible community sponsors who are willing to help, but we need to know before registration closes.
