🚨 ATTENTION COALFIELD SOCCER FAMILIES & COACHES 🚨

This morning, no one showed up to help open the fields. The same small group of volunteers cannot continue handling everything alone week after week.

These fields do not magically set themselves up. Benches, scoreboards, flags, garbage bags, tents, concessions, and field prep all take time and PEOPLE willing to help. We are a large league, and it takes everyone working together to make Saturdays happen for our kids.

Starting next Saturday, if volunteers do not show up to help with opening duties, games WILL be delayed until enough help arrives.

This is not meant to be ugly — it’s reality. We cannot continue expecting 4 or 5 people to carry the workload for hundreds of players and families every weekend.

If your child plays in this league, please consider stepping up to help occasionally. Even 15–20 minutes of your time makes a difference.

Without volunteers, there is no league. It’s really that simple.

We appreciate the ones who consistently show up and help without being asked. Your effort does not go unnoticed.

No volunteers means delayed games and cancellations!
Opening duties include:
• Setting up benches for U4 & U6
• Putting out garbage bags
• Placing field flags
• Setting up scoreboards

This will be a weekly need, and we simply cannot start games without this help.

We appreciate those who have already came out each week. Let’s see some new faces added tomorrow.

‼️‼️The first 5 spots (closest to the admissions gate) are handicapped spots; time has worn the signs, but they are still there. Please be respectful and save those spots for those who need them. Thanks.

Thanks for joining us for another great season! Games will be at our soccer complex on Sawmill Rd in Chapmanville. (There will be no games played on Easter or Memorial Day weekend.) Coaches will begin contacting players around the first week of March.
