Join us Saturday, October 17, for the 2026 Pumpkin Run 5K & Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run at the Northwest Family YMCA!
Entry Fees:
• Kids’ Fun Run: $10 run only | $15 with t-shirt
• 5K Early Registration: $30, including run + t-shirt
• 5K Race Day Registration: $50, with t-shirt based on availability
The fun continues beyond the course with a Costume Contest, YMCA Spooky Bus, bounce house, games, crafts, food trucks and kids entrepreneur market.
Even better, proceeds support the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, helping provide programs and services that strengthen our community.

💪 What a way to break in our new Functional Fitness Studio at the Chapin YMCA!

We had an incredible time at our LES MILLS CEREMONY HYROX™ event, featuring two special guest LES MILLS instructors. Participants took on a 45-minute functional training workout featuring eight dynamic stations designed to challenge strength, endurance and overall fitness.

And the setting made it even more exciting! This special event gave participants an exclusive sneak peek inside the new Chapin YMCA’s Functional Fitness Studio before the facility officially opens.

🏗️ Reminder: The Chapin YMCA is still under construction and is not yet open. We can’t wait to welcome the community when the time comes!

We’re excited to introduce another instructor who will be bringing energy and motivation to the Chapin YMCA! 💙💪

Meet Christine, one of our new Group Exercise instructors who will be leading LES MILLS BODYPUMP™. We’re looking forward to having her as part of the Chapin Y community and can’t wait for you to experience her classes!

I’m a busy mom, pharmacist, and lover of all things active and creative—from group fitness and gardening to crafts, outdoor adventures, and whatever new hobby catches my attention next! 😂🌱🎨🏃‍♀️

My kids are involved in several sports through the YMCA, and I’ve been enjoying workouts at the Ballentine Y alongside my dad since he relocated here a few years ago.

I’m so excited to bring that same positive energy into the studio—to help you move, laugh, sweat, and feel stronger while remembering that fitness should be something you truly enjoy!

🎃 Let’s get spooky! The 2026 Pumpkin Run is coming to the Northwest Family YMCA on Saturday, October 17!
Bring the whole family for a spooktacular morning featuring the Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run, 5K, Costume Contest and Fall Festival fun.
Race Day Schedule:
• 7:00 AM – Packet pickup & late registration
• 8:00 AM – Kids’ Fun Run
• 8:30 AM – 5K Race Start
• 9:35 AM – Awards Ceremony
• Until 10:00 AM – Fall Festival and Children’s Entrepreneur Market
All 5K participants receive a commemorative race medal and t-shirt, and proceeds benefit the YMCA’s Annual Campaign.
