What an incredible City Meet ‘26 weekend!!!
We truly could not be any more proud of these Timberlake Turtles. We are pretty sure that every single swimmer got a best time this weekend in at least one of their events- that’s amazing! We got to see the progress they made all season & some big smiles!!

This year, we had 37 swimmers sign up for City Meet! That’s about 20 more than last summer!! Which meant we were able to have several relays & really see the team spirit shine through.

To our first time City Meet swimmers, we were blown away by your bravery and confidence to jump in and give it everything you had! We hope it was the first of many!

We have a big stack of ribbons that we can’t wait to present at our end of season banquet on July 6th!

We also have to share some stats, because we had some major standouts and point scorers this year! 💪🏼

🔴 As a team, we scored a total of 254.5 points!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 putting us in 19th place overall 🔴

Placing in City Meet is a huge accomplishment, as these swimmers were going up against all of the talent in the city (and then some!). Each event has anywhere from 70 to over 100 swimmers competing. We had so many right on the cusp of scoring points, too, so we can’t wait to see what next year brings!!

Congratulations to EVERYONE who competed! It was a great way to wrap up another amazing season with such a great group of kids and parents.

Lastly, THANK YOU to all of the parents who cheered on the team, patiently sat through lightning delays, and an extra special thank you to those who volunteered this past weekend! We couldn’t do it without you all.

Hope to see you all on July 6th to celebrate a successful season!

CITY MEET IS ALMOST HERE!
Saturday June 27th & Sunday June 28th (see table below with sessions by age group).

This is what we have been working towards all season & it is SUCH a fun weekend. You won't want to miss it!

They can choose up to 3 individual events they want to swim.

The absolute latest day to register is June 22nd. ALL CHECKS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12pm on JUNE 23rd or we will not be able to register your swimmer. CSL is very strict on this- they do not allow any late entries under any circumstance.

-6 & under swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool completely unassisted for City Meet. They do not allow coaches to get in the pool with them at this meet.
-If you have a 6&under that wants to swim other events, they can swim up with 8&under, if able, and pay the $35 entry fee.
-Make checks payable to Timberlake Turtles Swim Team (we will submit one check to CSL for the whole team)

We will have some special, fun activities planned for the swimmers going to City Meet, so make sure you join us! Our goal is to have more swimmers sign up every year so that we can form more relays and have fun together as a team!

A few pictures from our first A Meet against Newberry Marlins on Thursday! You guys did AMAZING. We were so impressed by the incredible performances from each of you! We had several events where Timberlake won 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd place in the event.

While we came up just shy of an overall win, we will still celebrate the overall girl’s win & the individual event wins!
