Training and physical therapy overlap, but they aren’t interchangeable. A physical therapist can diagnose, treat injury, and guide rehabilitation in ways that fall outside a trainer’s scope. Having both under one roof means we can support you through the full range, from building strength to recovering well. 💡

PT at CHT is led by Dr. Chris Rain, DPT. Whether you’re working through pain, recovering from surgery, or simply want to move better, a free assessment is the place to start.

Corrective exercise is about identifying and addressing movement dysfunction—the underlying issues that cause pain, limit performance, or increase injury risk.💡

We’re not just looking at muscles in isolation but at how your whole body moves, where patterns have broken down, and what needs to happen to restore proper function.

This might look like:
👉Addressing mobility restrictions BEFORE adding load
👉Fixing muscle imbalances that are causing compensation patterns
👉Working on motor control—not just strength

Someone with shoulder issues might need hip work. Someone with knee pain might need core stability training. The body is connected—treating symptoms without addressing root causes just delays the problem.

Traditional personal training stops at exercise while Hybrid Training doesn’t.

👉 In our latest blog, we break down why the traditional model leaves too much on the table, and how a smarter approach to your time with a trainer can address the full picture: nutrition, habits, energy, and everything in between.

In exercise programming, we use terms like macrocycle, mesocycle, and microcycle to plan training phases. These same concepts can help you understand your own progress. 🕕

Most people only think at the micro level, AKA “did I work out today or not?” 🏋️

But without meso and macro thinking, you can’t see patterns. You might be crushing individual workouts but not progressing toward anything meaningful. Or you might have a bad week and think you’re failing when you’re actually right on track for the bigger picture.

Progress isn’t linear. Having different levels of measurement helps you see where you actually are and track your fitness journey more accurately and effectively. 💪

New blog just dropped!! 🙌

This first blog of March focuses on laying the groundwork for CHT’s innovative approach to personal training: Hybrid Training! What even is it? What does it mean? Is it viable? Is it truly innovation? How can it apply to you?

There’s a lot to discuss, but this blog focuses on the behind-the-scenes thinking of how to upgrade industry standards for training based on what our clients and prospective clients ultimately want and need from fitness professionals! ‼️

👉 Swipe for a sneak peek of hybird training and how it differs from the classic personal training approach.
