Triangle Vintage Dance

Triangle Vintage Dance Triangle Vintage Dance is dedicated to providing Vintage Dance events and Waltz events for the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of NC.

We teach a couple of styles of waltz as well as Victorian and Ragtime dances. Vintage Dance refers to dancing of the 1860s to the 1930s. It includes country dances and quadrilles, which are taught and called like contra dances. Vintage Dance also includes couple dances such as Victorian Waltz, Polka, Schottische, and Mazurka, as well as Ragtime One-Step, Foxtrot, Tango, Blues and Charleston. Additionally, TVD promotes Cross-Step Waltz, that originated in the 1930s.
