Having a baby at the barn is a constant stream of adjusting and readjusting. Every time I think I have our situation figured out, she gets a new skill and I have to adapt.

But what I have also found is that babies are very adaptable too. She watches lessons with me, she sits ringside while I ride, and she gets to learn new skills right alongside my riders. It is so fun to have her with me most days, but also so hard. I’m thankful for my clients and my horses that go along for this ride.

I also have learned so much from other moms who have survived this same season. Shoutout to Equestrian Mothers on Facebook for the recommendation for this wagon! We’ll see how it pans out, but for today baby is very pleased to hang out in here!

First show post-baby survived! River and Sparkle knocking off the dust and getting back in the ring! Sparks did amazing in her first off-property with us! Thanks for the ride

I’m sure I’ll have many more moments like this before these girls leave, but I am oh so thankful for their time as part of Moon River Training! Watching a few of them from the time they were 9(!!!) to now graduating high school has been such an honor. I am so proud of the young women they have become, and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes them. 💕
