Today is a special day.

On the 25th Anniversary of the DC Diplomats Team Handball Club, the D1 Men’s Team beat the storied by a score of 33-25 to earn a third place finish at this year’s Elite Men’s National Championship 🥉. Congrats to our opponents on an amazing battle!

For those of you that have been following this club for part of those 25 years, this remarkable weekend is not only the Diplomats best ever finish at the highest division of Men’s National Handball, it is also the result of something bigger.

What began a couple of years ago as a renewed effort to re-build this club into a major hub for Team Handball in the United States is becoming a reality. The growth of both our Women’s and Men’s teams in this short span has become evident and this is only the beginning for a club of friends that prides itself in developing local players and serving the local community.

Thank you to all those who helped us get here & so many more who sacrifice days and nights to put this club where it belongs.

The sky is the limit. See you all in August.

Your DC Diplomats Men’s Team fell in this year’s semifinals to the New York Athletic Club.

The Diplomats historic run continues tomorrow. Tune in for the 3rd place match at 11:30am EST.

The DC Diplomats Men’s Team went undefeated in the group stage of this year’s Men’s National Championships, beating Chicago Inter by a score of 32-29 and automatically qualifying for tomorrow’s semifinals.

More information on tomorrow’s match will be shared once our opponent is decided.

We are growing and getting better every day.

The DC Diplomats Men’s Team started their 2026 National Championsips campaign with a solid 42-20 win over the Denver Wolves.

Game 2 against the Chicago International Club starts at 7:30PM EST.

♥️MATCHDAY RECAP 🖤

Last weekend, the DC Diplomats Team Handball Club hosted the final Matchday of the season for the Northeast Handball League.

Don’t let the final scores fool you! This Matchday was a huge success for our club, hosting both a Women’s and Men’s Matchday at home and fielding three total teams (1 women’s; 2 men’s) for this important regional competition.

This club continues to grow every week, full of dedicated players willing to learn and get better every day. Stay tuned for post-season updates for both our Women’s and Men’s teams.

🚨ROSTER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Our D1 Men’s Team is heading to the United States Military Academy at West Point this weekend to compete in the annual Scott Pace Tournament.

This two-day tournament will have our squad facing against some of the best teams in the Northeast.

Following a solid showing at the Quebec Challenge Cup, this team is ready to continue their preparation ahead of the Team Handball National Tournament next May.

♥️A NEW ERA IN DC WOMEN’S HANDBALL🖤

The DC Diplomats headed to UNC Chapel Hill this weekend to participate from the annual Blue Cup Tournament.

With a unique combination of experienced and newer players, this team fought until the end and earned a historic 3rd place after beating the Ohio State University.

The future is bright in DC!

Our DC Men’s Team heads to White Plains for its second tournament of the year following a very successful participation at the Tar Heel Invitational 🏆. We are looking forward to matching up against the best teams in the continent in preparation for this year’s Nationals.
