⚾ Opening Day Jamboree – Skills Competitions! ⚾

We’re excited to kick off the season with a day full of games and now fun skills competitions for all age groups, including:

💥 Home Run Derby

For just a $5 entry fee, the winner in each age group will get to pick out a pair of batting gloves! 🧤🔥

The Chapel Hill Youth Baseball and Softball League Opening Day Jamboree is almost here and we’re ready to kick off an amazing season!

Come out for a fun-filled day of baseball, softball, and cheering on our Chapel Hill kids as they start the season!

This year we will be doing a calendar fundraiser! Emails were sent to all parents this morning. Please help us raise money to continue growing and we appreciate everyone's continued support!!

The highest raising Team with receive a PIZZA PARTY!! 🍕🍕

●How it works: Choose a date and donate that amount. Ex: choose date 5 & 10- donate $15.

●All calendars will be due APRIL 25th- please turn them in to your child's Coach and they will turn them in for the entire team to the concession stand building.

●If you have children on multiple teams the calendar goes toward both teams/children.

👋🏻Meet second year Board Member Cate Priar. She serves as the Team & Player Agent.

Cate grew up playing a variety of sports, ultimately pursuing her favorite sport, softball, collegiately. Having played and now coached the game at all levels, her passion lies in teaching fundamentals, and keeping the game enjoyable. As a firm believer in the life-changing power of sport, Cate joined the Board with the simple goal to help create more opportunities for local athletes. The lessons learned playing sports, last a lifetime!

When not at the ballfields, Cate and her wife Emily can be found traveling with their five dogs, enjoying concerts, fishing, or volunteering for various nonprofits.

🥎⚾️ Mike Minor Fields Reminder ⚾️🥎

The Mike Minor Fields are closed for any non-league and private practices until the Chapel Hill Youth Baseball & Softball spring season concludes.

League teams will continue to practice on their designated days. Once games begin, we’ve built in scheduled breaks to ensure the fields have time to rest and recover.

🚫 Important Reminder: When attending practice, please do not drive or park vehicles on the gravel walkways. This helps us maintain safe and accessible areas for everyone.
