We are honored to have been able to have been a part of Knox Sports Marketing's efforts to reach underserved children in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, this summer. They helped put over 800 children in soccer uniforms some of which were donated by Rainbow Soccer.

7/29/25 Just a reminder - due to the extensive damage sustained from TS Chantal, our physical office at 121 S. Estes Drive Suite 105 is closed. Registration for our youth and adult fall teams remains open at www.rainbowsoccer.org although many of our youth programs have gone to waiting list so that we can steer players towards our remaining roster spots without parents having to pay up front for a team that is already full.

We are hard at work making repairs to the extensive damage done to our fields and parking areas by Tropical Storm Chantal. In addition to the usual flooding we often experience at the entrance to the field off of Cleland Road after a sustained heavy rain event, parts of the Bolin Creek Greenway that runs between S. Estes Drive Extension and Cleland Road were dislodged by the force of the water and ended up washing piles of Chapel Hill gravel and torn pieces of asphalt across the northern most part of the fields. A neighbor decided to add to our workload by leaving a bag of dog p**p on a pile of debris for us to clean up!

While our S. Estes Drive offices are temporarily closed for flood remediation, registration for youth and adult fall soccer remains open at rainbowsoccer.org. Our U4 - U7 program is filling quickly and registrations for that program will soon go directly to a waiting list so that we can guide them towards actual roster spaces.

As the predicted rains for this week keep us inside, our staff is hard at work on the spring rosters for the close to 1300 players who have already completed registrations for the spring. Our initial roster release is scheduled for sometime during the week of Feb. 16 - 22. We have limited availability at most age groups (except Rainbow u4/u5 (2020/21) and CH United u10 (2015/16) which are both full). At this time we have the most room available at Rainbow u8 (2017); Chapel Hill United U12 (2013/14); TAGS u12 and TAGS u14 (2011/2014). Waitlist registrations are made at no cost; charges are only incurred when you are able to register your child for one of our available spots.

Our office is closed for the holidays and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Online registration for our Winter Adult 7 v 7 league as well as the Spring 2025 youth and adult seasons remains open at www.rainbowsoccer.org. Youth players wanting to remain on their same team for the spring must complete their registrations by Dec. 31, 2024 in order to secure their spot on their Fall 2024 team for the Spring 2025 season.
