The #14 Tar Heels fall just short to #7 Indiana in the ACHA Southeast Regionals, ending a historic season for UNC Ice Hockey. This season, UNC received its highest regional ranking ever, and appeared in regionals for the first time in program history. Thank you for all of your support this season, and we’ll see you later this year for the start of the next one.

The Tar Heels fall to NC State in a hard fought ACC Championship game. Carolina plays in ACHA regionals this Friday at 8 PM against Indiana (updates to come).

The #7 Tar Heels win over #1 Virginia Tech to advance to the ACC Championship! UNC will play the other Semifinal winner tomorrow at 1:30 PM for the title.

The #7 Tar Heels win over #2 Georgetown and advance to the semifinals! Carolina faces off against #1 Virginia Tech tomorrow at 5 PM for a chance to play in the championship.

UNC finishes the 2021-2022 season ranked #14 in the Southeast Region. There is a potential to compete in the Southeast Regional Playoffs depending on the outcome of this weekend’s many league tournaments.

Carolina finished the regular season with a win over Duke and an overtime loss against West Virginia. The #7 Tar Heels will play against #2 Georgetown in the ACC Tournament in Winston-Salem this Friday at 9 PM. The game will be live-streamed (updates to come). If they win, they will advance to a Semifinal game on Saturday.

Presenting the UNC Hockey Class of 2022!

Only two games left, both at home at Orange County Sportsplex. Friday at 10:15 PM vs. Duke and Saturday at 5:15 PM vs. West Virginia. Saturday’s game will be senior night.
