Since humboldt had its last race of the season I've been talking to the wife. With the high diesel costs right now we will probably only run 2 more races unfortunately. So with that said where do you think we should go?

We FINALLY got the other gopro to work. Unfortunately I hit the button when I got to the track and it just ran and ran out of storage right after hot laps. Was slimy but its a pretty cool view.

What comes to my mind this afternoon while working on the car is this.

Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV [9] Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; [10] So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

After last Fridays race we saw that the radiator was toast and I thought the upper was too. I couldnt tell what all else was broke. I decided our season was done. We had alot of expenses over the last couple weeks and I was content with it. My pit help said something about the other radiator and I must have missed it altogether. When I got home I told the wife we were done and she reminded me of the spare radiator in the garage. I didn't need to pull that radiator when I did. It was fine. I was replacing the water pump and putting in the new motor and had the money to replace it so I did. That radiator is sitting in this car and there's nothing else wrong with the car. I'll have probably $30 in this repair bill. He knew what was to come and took care of me before I got there.

This is a possession we gave to Him and He continues to provide every single time

I just realized i never gave the last friday nights update

8-7-26 friday night at Humboldt Speedway

At the gate i drew a 31 which put me starting 3rd in the 2nd heat. Car felt awesome. It was looser on the bottom than I wanted but I got it figured out halfway through and finished 2nd with Daniel's knocking on the door.

That finish put me starting 6th in the A feature. Made a small adjustment and started really well on the bottom. Got put on top on the restart and wasnt sure how to feel about it but a quote by Ms. Frizzle from thr magic school bus came to mind. "Take chances, make mistakes, get messy" 😆 so I moved up and ran the top. Wasn't bad just tighter than I wanted and I dropped back and wanted to move down but it was a madhouse on the bittom so I stayed high to survive. It looks like the nut holding the left front upper came loose and I took another good bump to the left front and it separated the braket for the upper and let the upper come loose and shoved it through the radiator. The trash luck has to end at some point and we are ready 😂 ended 19th

No racing around the area tonight so we are hanging out at the house watching lucas oil late models the next couple days. We should have the car back together and ready for next weekend!
