A Black Belt examination was held last Saturday at YJ Taekwondo Academy. We would like to offer our sincere congratulations to everyone who successfully earned their 1st, 2nd, and 4th Dan Black Belts. Grand Master Kim, the Vice President of Virginia State Taekwondo, was in attendance to observe the proceedings.
Let us continue to train diligently and grow together as Black Belt leaders! All glory to God !!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Special Poomsae Seminar this past Saturday! 🙌

We were honored to welcome Grandmaster Kim (7th Dan) & Grandmaster Jun (7th Dan) — an active Poomsae competitor with outstanding experience and knowledge. His passion, precision, and guidance truly inspired our students to push their skills to the next level. 💪🔥

A big shoutout to all our Black Belt students who participated and trained hard — your focus and dedication made the seminar a huge success!

**Physical Challenge for the Month: Jump Roping**

This month’s physical challenge is jump roping.

Jump roping helps improve focus, balance, strength, and coordination.

For black belt students, the goal is to perform as many double unders as possible. Color belt students should focus on regular jump roping.

We had dinner with Master Hans' family to celebrate Master Hans' family's achievement in becoming Tae Kwon Do masters at the recent black belt test. They are now officially known as Master Emma, Master John, and Master Hans!

Master Hans' family has supported YJ Tae Kwon Do in countless ways over the years, and words cannot fully express our gratitude for their contributions.

Despite facing an upcoming surgery due to an injury, Master John and Master Hans showed incredible determination by not giving up on the black belt test and continuing to train toward their goal.

This family is a shining example of what it means to be a Tae Kwon Do family. We are so proud and respect that father, mother, and their son have trained for many years and earned the master degree. I feel truly blessed and fortunate to have Master Hans' family in our school.

Master John, Master Emma, and Master Hans truly deserve the title of Tae Kwon Do masters. Thank you once again for being a part of the YJ family for many years. Congratulations on becoming Tae Kwon Do masters!
