Prairie School of Dance We provide quality dance instruction in a wholesome environment. We are a faith based dance studio in the Greater Twin Cities area.

Our dedication to excellence, developing the whole dancer and quality instruction is unmatched. We offer a wholesome environment where music, costuming and choreography are all family-friendly and age appropriate. Our friendly staff encourages students to dance with their heart, mind and spirit. We value the dancer as a whole person and exercise grace in and out of the classroom. Our teachers hold college degrees in dance and many are professional performers in the Twin Cities as well. Their higher education, performance experience, and love for dance brings quality instruction into the classroom. We have two programs at our Prairie School of Dance. Our RECREATIONAL PROGRAM provides classes for ages 2 through adult. We offer creative dance, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theater, dance fitness, and sacred dance. Private lessons and birthday parties are also available upon request. Our PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM is for dancers ages 8 and older interested in a more dedicated and serious environment for their dance training. Our Performing Arts dancers are required to attend a minimum number of classes per week, and adhere to an attendance policy. They have the opportunity to perform many times throughout the year, participate in workshops, dance festivals, master classes, and large dance productions. To audition for the Performing Arts program, please contact us or attend our Assessment Intensive in August. Dance encourages self-confidence and poise that carry young women gracefully through all avenues of life. What an AMAZING start to our 30th year! 🎉 Our Dance Year Kick Off Party last night was so much fun! We loved seeing so many new and familiar faces, petting llamas, dunking our favorite teachers in the dunk tank, getting new dance shoes, trying out sample classes and SO much more! 🦙🕺🥳

We are so excited for another incredible year of dancing, growing, creating memories and celebrating 30 years of Prairie School of Dance!

Today is the FIRST DAY of dance classes at Prairie School of Dance, and we are SO excited to kick off our 30th year! 🩰✨

For 30 years, we’ve been teaching the joy of dance in a wholesome, encouraging environment, and we can’t wait to make more memories with our amazing dance families this year.
