⚡🏀❄ Winter weather may have condensed the schedule, but it didn’t slow down our 7th and 8th grade boys. With shortened games and a packed tournament format, these teams showed grit, resilience, and the kind of competitive spirit that defines CAA Basketball.

A special shoutout to our 8th graders as they wrap up their CAA Basketball journey. Thank you for the leadership you’ve shown, the example you’ve set for younger players, and the memories you’ve created along the way. You’ve helped build the standard for what CAA Basketball is all about. We can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

Great job, boys — and thanks to the families, coaches, and supporters who made the season unforgettable. 👏

The Boys Travel season (grades 3-6) officially came to a close this weekend at Grade State. ⚡🏀

The work these players put in since October showed every time they stepped on the court. It's been amazing to watch these teams compete, improve, and represent our community.

A sincere THANK YOU to our coaches for the time, leadership, and dedication you give to the program. The impact you have on these players goes far beyond the scoreboard, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Community League (Grades 4-8) Season Wrap 🏀⚡

Across the league we saw confidence grow, skills improve, friendships form, and teams learn how to compete. From first baskets to championship battles, this season had it all.

One team started 1–3 and finished two points short of a championship. In the tournament, every player scored because every player contributed.

Proud of all our players and grateful for the coaches who make it happen. 💙🏀

Huge congratulations to all of our Girls Travel Teams (Grades 3–8) on an incredible Grade State Tournament and an outstanding 2025–26 season!

From the first practice to the final buzzer, these athletes showed growth, grit, teamwork, and heart. The progress across every level has been so fun to watch.

A very special congratulations to our 8th Grade girls team as they wrapped up their final tournament with CAA Basketball. What a way to finish in Tier 1 against the top teams in the state! Thank you for representing the program with pride, work ethic, and class over the years. We can’t wait to watch you take the next step at the high school level.

And a huge THANK YOU to our coaches. You created meaningful experiences for these girls beyond the competition on the court. We are so grateful for your leadership and commitment to the program.

Every game was a battle in Wayzata and every win was earned. We're so proud of how each team closed out the regular season. Pressure moments. Tight finishes. Great competition all weekend - perfect prep for State!

This Friday (2/13) is CAA Boys Basketball Youth Night! Cheer on the Storm varsity boys as they face Bloomington Jefferson. CAA youth boys wearing their Chan jersey or Storm gear get in free with a paid adult admission.

5:30pm: JV tip-off
7:00pm: Varsity tip-off

Half-time: Shoot to Win! $1 per shot - make it and win a $3 coupon to the concession stand

Post-game: Immediately after the game varsity players will be available for team poster signings
