Due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately Landon will not be able to speak at this months meeting. We will be working with him to reschedule for a different date later this year. Instead we welcome, DFC board member Tom Horvath. Tom will be speaking about fishing the canals in Arizona!!

The Salt River Conservation and Fishing Event

The weather looks great and the report is the fish are biting!!

Saturday, January 17th @ 9:00AM.

Don’t forget you need a Tonto parking pass or an "America the Beautiful Pass"
This will be a fun morning starting with picking up a little trash for about an hour then
fishing the Salt River together! Fly Fishing assistance will be available for beginners and Carl will be doing a class on getting the perfect drift.
Come on down and have some coffee, doughnuts and grab a trash grabber :-)

When: Saturday, January 17, 2026
Time: 9 am -11 am (and beyond if the fish are biting!)
Where: Blue Point Bridge (Blue Point Recreation Area, Bush Hwy) Look for the DFC &
TU Signs and Banners.
What to bring: rod (5w or 6 w), waders, wading stick, net and
flies (Green Weenie's, small black zebra midges, red San Juan worms, pheasant tails,
green, black and yellow woolly worms and woolly buggers).
