Cricket what a crazy game and the love for the sport is immense, weve been playing our local league game here in Iowa while Ind was playing their finals against South Africa.. most of us in the team and the league were in two minds about missing to watch the game at home, but we got creative and took our screens (ipad and speakers) to the ground to watch the game while our team played!
We literally had to stop our game for few mins to watch and enjoy the winning moment of TEAM INDIA!!(pic in first comment)
Now coming to the game itself!! Whatta surreal moment!! Look at the emotions!!
So many times we came close to the cup but lost it!! Not this time, DEFINITELY NOT!! The boys were in complete composure not giving up, especially after that over from Axar, they way Bumrah steered the game back, SKYโs catch, Rohit trusting his pack and treating the game as normal brining in Hardik and Arshdeepโฆ of course not to forget the batting resilience from the King himself and the way Axar took ownership of the situation allowing Virat to settle in and get on a Blitz mode!!
Everyone pitched in at the right moment, stepping up when it mattered, raising up to the occasionโฆ this whole tournament for team India has been a complete teams effort!! The tears in everyones eye, the support staffs and especially the coach Sir. Rahul Dravids celebration like school kid.. man this is what a sport can do to anyone!!
When a person cries it doesnt mean always mean they are weak!!
It could be they have been strong for so long!! Its moment to LET IT GO!! Let your emotions fly SKY high!!
You made us all proud men in blue, so many years of wait is over and time to make all critics mouth shut!! Dont you dare!
